For sale is this lovely 1997 BMW 318i manual Touring, finished in ‘Arctic Silver’ with a black leather interior. It has covered 92,000 miles, has full service history, is HPI clear, has 4 previous keepers and the MOT runs until May 2024.

The bodywork presents really well, with the period-correct silver paintwork in good overall condition. There are a few small age related marks to the vehicle, and some slight bubbling to the driver side rear arch, but on the whole, considering the age of the car, things are very good.

Interior wise, the story is much the same. The black leather seats are in great condition with only minor bolster wear to the front seats, but free from any rips or tears. The dashboard and switchgear are in good order, and everything works as it should. There is some slight sagging to the headlining in the rear, which is common for an E36.

Mechanically the car is in great shape, having just had a new clutch as part of the manual conversion, as well as having had a recent service to compliment the full service history. It has also just had brand new BC Racing coilovers fitted, and as a result not only does the car drive well, but also feels very tight for a 26 year old E36. It’s also recently had four brand new tyres, front discs and pads, as well as there being numerous invoices for other work completed.

Overall, this is a really good and honest example of a well-kept E36 Touring with a manual gearbox, something that is becoming increasingly harder to find!
