Previously sold, a personal car – my beloved 1999 BMW E39 M5, finished in carbon black with black/grey leather, it’s covered 144,000 miles, has full service history, and is HPI clear. 

Exterior wise it’s in great condition, it has recently benefitted from a full detail and ceramic coating, it has the odd small age related mark but is very presentable for its age, it has no signs of previous poor repair work, it’s also just had the wheels refurbished in the factory shadow chrome finish by Ansell alloys, it does have a slight crack on the corner of the rear bumper and a very small amount of flat lacquer on the top back edge of the drivers side front wing. 

Interior wise it’s in excellent condition, it has minimal wear to the seats, steering wheel and gear knob, it still has its original floor mats, it has not been smoked in and the headlining is not sagging at all. It features heated electric memory seats, cruise control, dual zone climate control, electronically adjustable steering column, electric folding mirrors, M dials with oil temp gauge, an aftermarket head unit with Bluetooth and screens in the front headrests. Everything works as it should and has no warning lights on the dash. 

Mechanically it does need love, it has recently been serviced, has good tyres and good brakes all round, the clutch feels perfect, doesn’t slip and has a great biting point, it needs the VANOS rebuilding as it is rattling, it’s mainly the nearside that’s rattling, it sounds it’s worst on hot idle and hot start, it still runs, drives and stops perfectly and has plenty of power but I haven’t been driving it recently because of this.
