For sale is my personal 2007 Volkswagen Transporter T5 named “big John” he’s covered 140,000 miles, has half service history, has 5 previous keepers and MOT until October 2024.

Exterior wise he’s in good order, he is showing a few scratches and dents as to be expected of a Van this age but overall he presents very well! He has some Range Rover sport wheels fitted that are in nice condition. He was previously facelifted from a T5 to a T5.1, has a sportline grill fitted, black badges and aftermarket LED rear lights.

Interior wise he’s in good order, there is slight drivers side bolster wear but nothing untoward, the rear load area is ply lined, a new head unit with apple car play has just been fitted.

Mechanically is where Big John shines, he’s recently had an extensive mechanical overhaul with 2 new front tyres, a new timing belt and water pump, new head gasket with updated PD150 head bolts, new camshaft, new thermostat and thermostat housing, 4 new engine mounts, a new clutch and dual mass flywheel, a new expansion tank and a new radiator.

Big John was unfortunately declared as a Cat D in 2015 but is showing no signs of previous accident damage, he’s a great van and drives incredibly well!
